Although Dutchess Day has no swimming pool, once a year the school  “fields” a team to compete against Maplebrook School in Amenia. The Millbrook Blazers girls’ volleyball team gave their coach, Sean Stoliker, the best of  birthday presents - a sweep of Dobbs Ferry in the New York State Class C quarterfinals.

The scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-19.

Screams and loud cheering followed the winning shot as the Blazers celebrated their victory with hugs and high fives all around.
