Debs take championship in Queensbury
The Dutchess Debs 18 and under girls’ fast pitch softball team won the Adirondack Sports Complex indoor tournament in Queensbury on December 10 and 11.
The Debs went six and 0 on the weekend and outscored their opponents 52 to 13. After falling behind late in the championship game against the Nightmare Elite – an Albany-based club – the Debs rallied to win the 14 to nine in eight innings.
