The Millbrook Free Library

To the editor:
The Millbrook Free Library has been such an important part of the community, and continues to play an important role for community members and students today. I first used the library back when I was in Elm Drive Elementary School. I loved the wide variety of children’s books available, as well as the fun programs and activities offered and run by the wonderful librarians and library volunteers. As I got older and my love for reading continued to grow, the library provided wonderful books for pleasure reading, as well as an abundance of research materials for various school papers and projects. The library was also a quiet place where you could study or work on projects with friends after school. I often used the computers at the library before I had one of my own, and even after finishing school, I still use the library to easily and affordably print and make copies. My younger nieces and nephews use the library today as I did when I was in school, and they love having such an amazing place available to them in town. The library has given so much to us all, and now the library needs our help and support in order to continue to provide books, movies, research materials, programs, and much more for years to come.
