Kieran Lalor,  Joe Torres, Terry Sullivan and Didi Barrett

The Democrats chose Joe Torres to run against Kieran Lalor, the incumbent representing the 105th Assembly District.  Torres works for a bank as a personal banker. He lives in Wappingers Falls. Lalor has established himself as a devoted conservative, voting against the majority Democrats who have a safe working majority. Lalor beat Torres by a wide majority in 2014. The Town of Washington is in the 105th.

Terry Sullivan, a town board member in Copake, Columbia County, is running against Didi Barrett for the 106th Assembly District. Dr. Sullivan describes herself as a health care professional with 40 years of experience. She was elected to the Copake Town Board  in 2014.  She is on the agricultural committee of the Taconic Hills Central School District. She is running as a Republican. Didi Barrett held her seat 2014 narrowly beating Mike Kelsey.  The 106th District includes the northern tier towns of Dutchess and much of Columbia County.
