On Friday, January 22 ecologist Dr. Margaret Palmer will describe what we need to do to heal our nation’s rivers and streams.
Dr. Palmer has spent her career investigating how activities like mining and urbanization impact stream and rivers. She has also focused on both the benefits as well as the limits of restoration science. As an advocate for streams and rivers in US courts, Dr. Palmer will provide insight on the implications of social, political, and ecological of current restoration efforts.
